Kacee Cope, CVT, Hospital Administrator

Kacee has been an Allentown native her entire life. In 2009 she graduated from Lehigh Carbon Community College with a degree in Veterinary Technician A.A.S she was also the class president of the student chapter of NAVTA and the presidential ambassador for the college. In 2022 she completed her certificate in Veterinary Practice Management and in 2024 completed her level 1 certification in Burnout PREP. She has worked in all aspects of the veterinary industry but enjoys small animal medicine and leadership the best!  She has been the hospital administrator of Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center since the beginning. In her free time, she enjoys her family, her garden and spending time at the family cabin recharging by the lake.

Beth Dyer, Front Desk Supervisor

Beth Dyer was born in Barbourville, Kentucky and raised by her grandparents who were dairy farmers. She attended University of Maryland for general studies in the 1990’s. In 2011 her family moved to Pennsylvania from northern Utah and bought a farm in Lehigh County, where she has horses, goats, dogs and cats. With a passion for large animals, she worked as an Equine Technician for several years.  Later she found herself transitioned to small animal medicine and worked as a technician before coming to Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center.

Kathleen Sheehan, Surgery Nursing Supervisor

Kathleen was born and raised in South Jersey. She graduated from Rowan University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. She had planned on going to law school but had started working at a small Veterinary General Practice in 2001 while attending college.  She fell in love with Veterinary Medicine and has been a Technician for the last 23 years.  Kathleen started working at a combined General & Specialty practice in 2015 & found her passion for surgery and anesthesia. She moved out to Northeast PA with her fiancée & Pug named Wally in 2022 & started working at EPVMC in March 2023. In her free time Kathleen enjoys traveling, kayaking, and hiking.

Meghan Straub, BS, CVT, Emergency Nursing Supervisor

Meghan was born and raised in the Poconos. In 2013 she graduated from Mercy College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Technology. She has been working in emergency medicine and critical care for over 10 years. While Meghan enjoys all aspects of ECC, she has a special interest in acute illness and trauma. Meghan resides northeast of EPVMC with her fiancé, German Shepherd named Jax, and 2 cats (Little Grey and Puff). When she’s not working, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and traveling to the National Parks.

Christine Ruth, Assistant Front Desk Supervisor

Christine has been a dedicated receptionist at EPVMC since its beginning. Her journey in the veterinary field began over a decade ago at a kennel, where she discovered her passion for animal care. This experience set the foundation for her fulfilling career in veterinary services.
Outside of work, Christine enjoys spending time at the beach, hiking through nature trails, and indulging in her love for crochet. She is also a proud owner of two Saint Bernard’s, Sparkles and Maple, who keep her life full of joy and adventure.

Crystal Brensinger, Assistant Front Desk Supervisor

Crystal has been in the veterinary world for over 10 years.  She started her adventure at a primary veterinary office where she learned a lot about the field. She enjoys fostering cats and kittens, but bottle babies are her favorite.  Crystal enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 children, son-in-law and her 2 grandchildren. Although, most of her time is spent taking care of all her fur babies, which currently includes her two German shepherds, 6 cats and 7 chickens.
