No-shows and cancellations inconvenience those individuals who need access to veterinary care.
We strive to be on time for your scheduled appointment, and we ask that you give us the courtesy of a call within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment. As a courtesy, we provide a reminder call the day before your scheduled appointment.
Below is our outlined Cancellation/No-show/Late policy.
Late Policy
Clients are asked to arrive at their appointments before their scheduled appointment time. This allows enough time for the registration process to be completed before the actual appointment time.
If a patient arrives more than 15 minutes late for their appointment, the client will be given the option of either being seen that day as a walk-in, if the schedule permits, or may be required to be rescheduled for a later date.
Cancellation of an Appointment
If it is necessary for you to cancel your scheduled appointment, we require that you call at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will allow another patient to have access to this appointment.
You may reschedule when you call to cancel your appointment, however, if you need to reschedule a second time you will need to prepay the consultation fee. This prepaid fee is non-refundable.
Appointment No-Show
Not showing up for your scheduled appointment with no cancellation call made will be recorded in the patient’s chart. When you call to reschedule a No-show appointment you will need to prepay the consultation fee. This prepaid fee is non-refundable.
